I purchased this hat at a gift last Christmas, so I have not actually been the person wearing it. However, I thought the quality of the hat seemed very good. the construction looked to be good. It seems like it would be very effective in keeping warmth in, yet it was lightweight. The classic red and black buffalo plaid is great looking. I purchased it for my brother in-law, but when my teenaged son saw it, he loved it too. Would definately purchase it again.

Warm but could be improved. The flaps just hang loosely and if you want them up and out of the way they don't stay up. Need straps or a string to hold them up. Otherwise, fits well and looks good.
