I got the dark grey one as a Christmas gift from my husband. Since it provides full coverage without any bulk, it is great for sleeping in or wearing outside. It's not too thick or too thin. Just right! A plus is that it doesn't give me hat hair. Now, my husband uses the grey one daily and I bought the Port Heather one. It is a dark purple (almost burgundy) heather color. It fits me and my husband well even though we have different sized heads. I would recommend this hat to anyone (male or female) who has a cold head at night and/or has to deal with freezing winters.

I ordered navy but the hat is actually gray.

Like other reviewers have noted, the hat is quite large. I have a big head but it is just too big for me. I wear it anyways.

Warm, fits under my helmet, isn't itchy and covers my frozen ears (which aren't frozen anymore!) I have a medium to large, closer to large, head. It fits well even when I haven't cut my hair for a week or two. If you need it small just throw it in the dryer for a little while then stretch to fit!
