It's a great looking hat. Matches a lot of my wardrobe but the elastic on the back is really tight. I wear a 7 1/2 & yes it fits but the elastic is so condensed that it makes it feel tighter than it is. If I stretch out the elastic, it's actually big but when it snaps back, it's tight again. So (this may sound ghetto but) I put it on a soccer ball, took it in the bathroom with me when I took a hot shower, let the steam hit it & left it alone for a few days with the hopes of breaking it in & so far it's been working. It made it a lot more comfortable to wear. I'm sure that once it's worn enough, that will no longer be an issue for me. I also like the fact that the material is year round so I can wear it whenever. Luckily, I didn't have the problem that the other reviewers had regarding wrinkles but if I did, I'd assume the same solution would help that too. Lucky for me, I assume that the seller read the reviews & adjusted how it was stored to prevent it from happening further. I'm happy to know that & it does make me confident to make purchases from them again & will.

I love ivy caps, they just fit my head shape and personality better than baseball caps, the problem is they can look like an old man should be wearing it on the golf course. This hat has a younger cooler look and feel to it, while still retaining that ivy shape. As another reviewer indicated it came very wrinkled, the cotton is almost a canvas feel but soft, and looks like it has been in the plastic packaging for some time now. The wrinkles are a problem, I steamed it and got most the wrinkles out, and the more I wear it the smoother it gets. The fit is spot on, I got the large and fit just like all my other large ivy's. I really like it, and have received many compliments. for the price it's a good buy if you can overlook the time it takes to get it wrinkle free.

This is a nice looking hat, well made and fits great. The problem is the creases and wrinkles are so severe I don't know if they will ever come out. I don't own a steamer, but may have to get one some day.
