This item came very quickly and was packaged very securely. Its hard for me to find a hat that fits and this one is perfect. Its waterproof to a very serious way. It can be smashed into a backpack and with a little work be put back in into shape. I have had this product for some time (late review) and it looks even better as it ages

Outback Trading Company produces outdoor clothing for the "working" outdoorsman. This hat is extremely well-made. It has all the features I need to keep me dry in the hardest down-pour. I like the boot-lace draw-string. My last "outback hat" had a leather lanyard and I find that the shoe-lace type of lanyard works better and is easily replaceable if the need arises.

I love this hat so much that i also purchased the braided band version in brown. After reading some reviews of other more expensive outback hats that needed additional treatment to make them water-proof, I decided to buy again from Outback Saddle. Well lets just say this wasn't a hard dicision to make. Sizing was spot-on. Thanks to Killer Hats for the great packaging and fast shipping.
