I really like my new hat. I purchased it for sun protection while I am golfing. It is very light weight, feels comfortable on my head, and is great looking. I wear a medium hat size; however, the medium ran big for my head. I placed two cotton balls inside the head band of the hat (one in front and one in the rear) to snug it up and it is working out just fine.

This is just the hat I've been looking for. Those of you with a large hat size, like me, will find that this one fits the bill quite well.

It's hard for me to find hats that fit, and searching on Amazon for "Mens, hat, sun, xlarge" winnows down the list considerably. But I have to tell you, this Coolibar hat is perfect. Just the right weight, bendable so it doesn't have the floppy look of most sun hats, lots of coverage, and a touch of style also. It came fast (a week earlier than the shipping estimate) and I took it out on a hike in the California sun yesterday, and definitely felt much better with the wide brim shading my face and neck.

GREAT hat, good construction, I just hope that I can find this link again if I ever lose it or when it wears out in a few years...

Because this hat is shapeable, it tends to look a little messy. I guess the wire is somehow not ideal in that it can become very rippled, giving the hat a kind of messy look. Other than that, the style is very nice.
