I do a lot of walking, hiking, boating and other activities in the summer. I love this visor as it's the first one I've had that is comfortable to wear for an extended time and it's easy to pack when travelling. Straw goes with everything, too.
The only drawback -and I've had this problem with all visors and ball caps -is that it tends to blow off in wind. I'm still giving it 5 stars as I think that's a problem with all visors by the very nature of their design.

This visor is both stylish and keeps the sun off your face. However, after wearing it for 18 holes of golf, you do tend to get a headache from the band.

This visor has a nice large brim and is pretty comfortable to wear. The weave is not as tight as I would have hoped and it does allow some sun through in between the weaving. I use it while walking in the late afternoon so it's okay for that but I would hesitate to depend on it to protect my face during the noon time sun.
