I love this hat. For the price it is one of the most solid hats I own. And that price is terrific for the quality, here. It's a steal. The "Sal" has some good heft to it, so it is a nice topper for cooler weather, but for a sturdy hat it is also very light on the head. That makes it a marvelous spring hat as well. The blue plaid is classy and goes with a variety of outfits. It can be upscale or casual and still retain its spiffy demeanor. It wears and looks way more expensive than it is. This is fabulous quality for the price, and it's a Christys so you know you're getting superlative craftsmanship.
