I own five of these shirts and use them for daily wear in warm to hot weather while working in the Middle East. I was nervous at first because they are so expensive but after wearing them a few days in 115 F plus temperatures, I was sold! I have worn moisture wicking shirts from Under Armor, North Face, other Columbia shirt models along other various brands and I feel these keep me the coolest out of every shirt I have ever worn in hot weather and protect me well from the Sun.
I gave this shirt 4 out of 5 stars because I wish it had buttons instead of a zipper as do "normal" polo style shirts.

Love the Freezer 2 Polo. Very lightweight, very comfortable, very handsome, definitely a top choice for keeping cool in hot weather. The zipper front is different but I really like it, it lends a sportier, more contemporary look but this still looks just as nice as a button-up. The cut is generous, I am 6'2" 205 lbs and usually wear XL but I actually went with the Large in this after trying on both sizes. I find Columbia shirts are often cut on the bigger side. All in all a winner. Pretty expensive retail price but a quality shirt, if you can find it on sale it's definitely a recommended piece.

This shirt is most cool and comfortable. I tend to sweat (as opposed to glow or perspire) a lot in Heat and exertion and this shirt definitely keeps me cooler. I am most pleased with it.
