My wife and I just completed a two week tour through Great Britain and this hat turned out to be invaluable. I am an amateur photographer and I hate carrying an umbrella which just gets in my way, so this hat was exactly what I needed. It is completely rain proof, light weight and rolls up easily so you can store it in your jacket pocket when it isn't needed. I own a Tilley hat which I highly recommend for all day sun protection, but if you need something that you can put on or take off as conditions warrant and store easily, it is the Columbia Storm bucket hat.

Have to agree with several other reviews no toggle strap no chin strap and the color is not even close to the picture. I basically like the hat but am very disappointed by your representation of it. So should I not trust the info that Amazon posts for the products that they sell? That seems to be the case. Other vendors exist they are certainly on my list.

The description says there is an adjustable chin strap, and an adjustable drawcord and toggle at back. The hat I received looks like the one pictured but has no chin strap or drawcord. Very disappointed that I did not get the hat which I ordered but something else. Hope I can return/exchange it for the right one.

Just what I was looking for. Bought it for rainy rounds of golf. Keeps the rain from coming down your neck into your rain jacket. I also wore to the state fair when it was raining. Not going to win any fashion contests in it, but that's not the point it is a bucket hat. Lightweight. Stays secure enough (would not work great in a real storm with accompanying high winds). My needs do not dictate a higher price gore-tex, etc.

Even with hats sized small, I always have trouble finding a hat that doesn't make me look like a kid, due to my small head. This hat definitely fits me right. I like the material. It is very cool, breathable, and seems similar to wrinkle free fabric. I can but in a bag without worrying that it will be full of creases when I want to wear it.
