It's a nice and good quality hat. The size is a little larger than marked. The main word of caution is that it is deffinitely not the color shown on the web site. It is a darker army green.

I am a geologist, and I have a thing for awesome field hats. I love this one! It gives great sun protection and looks pretty snazzy too. The picture shows that the side snaps up, but it only has a snap on that one side. I was kinda disappointed with that. But that is the only negative thing that I can say about it. My hat was fairly true to the color of the picture, although mine was a little less green.
All in all, I love this hat. When I put it on, I feel like I'm ready to go on a safari or go rock hounding in style!

I bought this hat for my husband. We were going to a trip to Asia and he really need something to protect his face from the sun. He loved it!!!! We carry the hat in a backpack on its own all the way to Asia and It hold its form pretty good. It has a string attach to it so you can hang it in your neck pretty useful for trips. The color was perfect for us but it was slightly darker than in the picture. Overall high quality, very practical and excellent for the sun!!!

I seem to have a hard time finding hats that both fit and look good on my head. I tried a mesh sided hat early in the summer but ended up getting burned through the mesh so thought I would check this one out. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived that it fit perfect and looked great. I've been wearing it a lot since receiving it and have gotten a lot of compliments on it. It's very sturdy, holds it's shape well and isn't too heavy. I'd buy another one in a second.
