I'm in Fairbanks Alaska and I was looking for a warm hat that didn't cause a lot of static electricity like my fleece beanie hat. The fleece beanie is warm but when you go inside and take your hat off you don't want your hair to look like you stuck you finger in a light socket. This hat does the trick. I also bought it for the visor. We don't get that much sun during the winter so I don't bother with sun glasses, besides they are too cold to put on this time of year. The hat's visor works perfect. I'm very happy with this hat so far and I've been wear it for three weeks now in temps well below zero. I personally think the quilted fabric is warmer than the fleece.

I bought this cap after endless searches for a padded or quilted cap to wear when working where I might bump my head such as under a car. But it has become my favorite all-round cap except for freezing temps. The brim rolls down to protect the ears and neck, and makes it almost impossible to be blown off in strong wind. The short bill is perfect for close-up work. I'm very pleased

It's a nice looking hat and I bet it's pretty warm, but if you're going to make a one size fits most, it should be a little bigger. My head isn't small, but it's not abnormally large, and the hat was way too small for my head. I sold it to a friend for the price I paid, so no harm no foul I guess.

This is another in a long line of hats that are far too small for my head. It is also kind of a funky pattern.

The only complaint that I have with this hat is that the inner band that goes across my forehead has a line of stitching that causes discomfort if I wear it for more than about 10 mins. There is excess fabric or something there that digs into my skin and causes discomfort and a significant line across my face.

Other than the above, it's a good hat. Warm, good looking, covers the ears and can wear it with sunglasses if needed. Would be five stars if I could wear it without becoming uncomfortable or looking like I had been in a knife fight.
