I own quite a few styles of Kangol's and wish there were more reviews on them on Amazon. It's tough to know how a Kangol is going to to fit ahead of time since you usually can't go to the mall and try them on, especially the more obscure ones like this one. I bought the Tweed Peebles in Beige Tweed, size Large. I'm normally a 7 3/8 in New Era 5950 baseball caps for comparison if that helps.

To compare this Tweed Peebles to the Classic 504 Ventair, which is probably Kangol's most popular, this one fits much tighter and snugger. The fit was way too tight, too shallow in terms of headroom up top. The brim seemed too narrow. It felt like it was a size smaller than it was (possibly two sizes too small). I don't see how it could be worn comfortably unless you wore it really high on your head. I personally like to pull them down further; with this hat, I could not do that.

It is a very good-looking hat though. The design/pattern on mine was classy/cool/old-school/vintage-looking. I just wish the fit had been roomier. As it was now, I'm returning it for something else.

As a woman, I thought a men's small in this hat would be a perfect fit. Wrong! It runs SO small that it literally seems better suited for children. The color (beige mix) & quality were quite nice though. As another reviewer observed, it could easily run nearly two sizes smaller than one would expect, which presents a dilemma as to what size to re-order. I'd order at least one size up from your normal Kangol size, but two sizes up would likely be the safest bet. Good luck!

The fit of this hat is pretty terrible. That being said it's a kangol and it will look nice hanging on your wall. However if you expect to be wearing this all the time then guess again.

I bought it because of the colors and didn't return it because it's too much of a hassle and it still looks good in my room.

Don't buy if you're buying for fit and everyday use. If you're a crazy hat collector like myself then maybe you should buy it though.

Very Pleased

The reviews with not so great ratings caused some hesitation,however limited sizes and colors available spoke louder.I do have a narrow face,which may contribute to my liking the way it looks.As for fit,as one review states,it's hard to tell when you can't try it on,at the same time I wear medium,asked for medium,and well it fits perfectly.It does sit high,I am glad for this.It is definitely not uncomfortably tight,also glad it fits snug as I don't like chasing hats around on windy days.
