wear this all the time when riding my motorcycle!! not too snug to where you feel like your head is losing blood supply, but tight enough that it won't blow off with canyon winds. I don't have a big head and a lot of hair, so it does the job.

These caps were for my husband but they are to thin for him, they don't keep his head warm. Having cancer cotton caps work better for him.
