Review of Sunday Afternoons Sprinter Cap

This running cap has a slightly larger brim than your average baseball cap. The brim is about 3 1/4 inch brim by my measurement instead of the 3.5 inch that the Sunday Afternoons said it did. The brim is also a bit wider than your normal cap so it's not quite as duck-bill looking. However, it doesn't curve on the sides of the brim as much as another running cap I had for comparison. It would have been nice so that it less sun could hit my crow's feet around my eyes but I guess it hasn't been too much of a problem. The underside of the brim is a medium gray color....should have been black to prevent reflected light from reaching the face. The cap itself is kind of shallow, it could have been deeper to fit more securely on my head and my head is on the small side too. The thing that annoyed me the most is that the ponytail hole in the back is annoyingly small. I usually put my hair in a small bun and then push it through the ponytail hole. Can't do that with this cap even though it doesn't seem to be a problem with other running caps. Maybe if the strap to secure the cap was situated a bit lower so that it aligned with the base of the cap rather than 2/3 -1/2 down would have solved this problem. I kept the cap bc I can't really find another running cap with a bigger brim. It provides adequate coverage, but it could have been better. Guess you take the good with the bad.

Love the lightweight material and the syling of this cap. Also like that it is adjustable but the medium is still a bit too large for me. But I don't have very much hair left due to alopecia. I would wear just these caps (exculsively) in every color if they had a smaller size :)
