I've been looking for a nylon short-billed baseball cap for years. This is it. The cap material is very light and slightly stretchy; the bill is rigid and pre-curved to fit most preferences. It satisfies my two required functions, sun/rain shelter for my glasses and "do-rag" for my hair! Perfect for my informal needs. This would probably go under most helmets easily.

As to sizing, I am usually medium, occasionally small. The entire hat is a little stretchy, so it grips your entire head gently rather than firmly at the band. So the hat seems pretty secure even though it doesn't feel tight. Large and beyond should have no issue whatever.

An awesome warm to hot weather cap. Looks good (for those who can sport the short bill), sheds heat well, and packs into about the size of just the bill. It is very light, as well. It works great for hiking and running, but is also fashionable enough to wear elsewhere.

Only reason it gets 4 stars is because it lacks a bit in the realm of durability. I wore it everyday this summer (travel, work, running, family time, everything) and now this fall you can see the signs of wear.

I prefer to buy things that last for a very long time, so this is a bit of a bummer to find a great cap like this, then to see that it will not last as long as I'd like. That said, what can I expect out of a hat made of very lightweight ripstop nylon?

Overall, great, lightweight, cap for warm to hot weather.
