Used this to make a Pokemon league hat for an Ash Ketchum halloween costume. The hat is nice enough, but seems to have been made for coneheads. I have a big ol noggin. I'm 6'2 with matching skull. But this hat is tall enough that the scratchy mesh sides would slide all the way down and rest atop my ears, which got kinda uncomfortable. The solution was to wear it kind of floating partway up my head and adjust it when it fell, but I can't shake the feeling that there is a lot of extra space in here to stash your mullet.

Problem with buying trucker hats online is that sometimes you don't get a sense of how big they are going to be when they are sitting on your head. This particular hat is very much on the large size. I have had plenty of trucker hats and they have all looked fine on my head, but this one is about an inch taller than my other trucker hats. Even when I pull the hat so it is sitting just above my brow, I feel like there is enough space between my head and the top of the hat to house a little bird sanctuary in there.

I'm giving it 3 stars because the build quality is very good. The mesh is nice and durable and the little tether that goes across the front of the cap is nice and tight which keeps it from riding up the foam front.

This would be 5 stars if it were smaller and built for the average head size or if my head was gigantic.

The quality is not bad. I actually has a pretty decent finish. My complaint is in the actual size of the front/Height it is huge. It is not as stylish as other hats I own. This was purchased to match some apparel, Please note the hat is Orange not the new bright Neon Orange I was looking for.
