Excellent shipment and timing, but they sent the wrong hat. Was looking for the wool hats that New Era are slowly trying to get phase out. New hats are nice and all, but nothing would/should every take the place of the long time traditional wool hat. Good thing was that I could take it to the store and get my money back instead of having the hassle of mailing it back.

This cap is the bread and butter of a true Red Sox fan. New Era hats incorporate your sweat combined with heat to help the cap conform to your head. I always get mine a little large so that it won't draw up too tight, but I love this hate. I've probably bought four or five of these in my lifetime only because I always wear hats and this is always my go-to. If I didn't wear them constantly and work in them as well, I'm sure they'd last even longer than the years they last as it is.

Very nice hat. Well constructed. Appears very durable. About a finger width too large, but I will wear a sweat band to get a tighter fit. Perhaps I should have ordered a slightly smaller size. Regardless, I am keeping this item. It won't be the hat I wear in the yard or at the beach...more special occasion like ball games and other outdoor sporting events.

It comes wrapped in plastic but retains a musty chemical stench. Really weird smell. Other than that, it doesnt have a New Era logo on the side.. Doesnt the authentic caps have that? Who knows?
