I primarily bought this hat for hiking and running. I wanted something to protect my neck and that had a brim all the way around, as opposed to a cap style.

The positives are it is very light and well ventilated. I found my head much less overheated than when I wear a ball cap style hat. Also it is very packable/crushable.

The negatives are the brim and neck guard are almost too light and flimsy. They blow up in even a slight breeze reducing their effectiveness. Had they put a plastic stiffener in the brim instead of the quilted type stitching, and put some type of a plastic clip on the bottom of the neck flap it would solve those problems without adding much weight.

Even with the negatives, I still prefer it over a ball cap style or a heavier bucket type hat, and not a bad deal for the price.

This hat works great to protect your face, ears, and neck from the sun. It breathes nicely, stretches to fit large heads and is quite comfortable.

I really liked the item the hat fits nice. I think it looks good I thought it would cover my ears but it didn't the way I expected but I think they will still be protected from the sun.

Great cap. I used to have to put sun block on my neck, but after i bought this cap never had to again. One size fits all. Has an adjustable pull string to make it tighter. Since the visor goes all around not even my ears get burned. My best friend that goes fishing with me all the time liked it so much i bought him one as a gift.

looks good, the size is no so big but this one can be stretched and fit big size. like this item.
