My husband bought this same hat about 10 years ago in a medium, same color. He loved the hat but a little snug so when his Dad visited & also loved the hat which fit him to a tee, he went home with it. Had been looking for another hat like this a while & so happy I found the hat here on Amazon. The hat was slightly big but the foam strip that came with the hat fixed that & my husband just loves the hat. He bought several others but the brims are just a little too wide & this one is perfect. Some khaki colors tend to be beige & some lean to the olive color of khaki which this one does. The photo looks more beige than the hat if that makes a difference as this is more the olive type of khaki. It's a very nice hat & well made hat.

I ordered the Khaki hat; it arrived on time, in great condition. But the color was nothing like the one pictured; this was olive green. The label attached did say khaki, but there was nothing tan about it, and the band especially was mint green. I could have dealt with having to return it, but so far I had to pay $8 return shipping. If they refund that I'll up my review a notch, but bad enough I had the hassle of sending it back again, I shouldn't have to pay for it too.

I gave the hat one star. It's a beautiful hat for the price and I would have given it four stars if their sizing chart was accurate. I take a 7 which should be 22 inches. Their small shows it to match that but the actual item is too small. They include shimming material...for if the hat had been too large, so I would suggest buyers order on the large side...they can always shim it. I'm going to have to see if it stretches if I wet the band each time I use it.

I read the other posts / comments before ordering. My first hat was a extra large and even with the sizing band that was included, I found the hat to be too large; which is contradictory to other comments previously made. Luckily a neighbor loved the hat and I immediately ordered the large. Perfect fit. Now, about "khaki" which I ordered. I noticed a slight difference in both hats, but only slight. Khaki according to several web-sites can almost be infinite in shades. For those people wanting a true beige...look elsewhere. This is a well made product, and I look forward to many years of use from it. The stitching is tight and the fabric is quite thick. All in all, I am impressed !!! Any others ordering this should consider getting the hat size you normally wear...not larger as others have mentioned.
