I really like this hat. It arrived exactly as described and better than I expected for the price I paid. Excellent value and the warmest hat I have ever owned. I love the big ear flaps. My ears have never been more comfortable despite extreme temperatures. Shipping was fast and accurate.

Got this for my son and he loves it, (apparently it is quite "cool" -not the word the kids use but one I know).

Was a bit leery of this purchase given the low price but it is decently constructed and holds up to the beating of a typical teenager.

Not couture by any means but a decent winter hat. The pin that comes with it is a bit flimsy and you will need to actually make a small cut

in the brim of the hat in order to apply the pin as intended. Shipping took a little bit longer than anticipated (just over 2 weeks) but within seller's projected time range.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Quite a kick to get a parcel from St. Petersburg, Russia, with this hat inside. The material is good, the hat is well-constructed and it fits well, though I would have preferred an X-Large for my fat head. Used to have one like that until I forgot it in a taxi a few years ago. The "pin" is of course suitable mainly for teenagers or dedicated Marxists, I wouldn't go around wearing that in a public place where I may be likely to encounter people who have had occasion to encounter the Red Army up close. Fortunately it does not come attached to the cap, and that's the way it shall stay. The hat is really warm and does a good job of covering the ears. I have not figured out how to lower the front flap without tearing it up, so that I can look like a dork going fishing rather than a nattily-uniformed "Spetznak" conducting Special Forces Operations and executing decrepit dissidents. (JUST KIDDING!)

Will be "testing" it rigorously on a trip to Yellowstone Park and other heights in Montana in March, in real Russian-type winter weather.

It took a few days to get it despite the very prompt shipping confirmation, but the fact that it did come direct from Russia, customs stamps and all, explains that. Overall good deal, but I hope they offer an XL size which I would buy right away.

I am of Greek and Russian descent (and speak Russian). It was great receiving a package from Russia this morning. Perfect ushanka! I am keeping the soviet badge stored away with my other military items I've collected. I also purchased the byzantine-Russian eagle badge to place on the hat instead. Two small holes must be made in the ushanka in order to place a badge. The hat is very VERY warm( very hot with the ear flaps down). I am looking foward to winter. I will be wearing this with my trench coat.

I was very pleased with this product. Initially I purchased it for a Russian-themed party, but I wear it all the time. It keeps my head warm and the ears are amazing. It took 17 days (about 10-12 business days) from the day that I ordered it to the day it was delivered. It's coming all the way from St. Petersburg so shipping is a bit higher than usual (like $10-$15) but it's nothing significant. If you don't want to wear the pin, that's fine too. I don't personally, and the pin doesn't come attached to the ushanka. I'd recommend this product for anyone.
