Unfortunately the return deadline passed while this hat was slowly deforming, about 45 days. While I like the Adventure Hat and will buy another, the Traveler Hat is not recommended. The brim cupped badly and makes for a strange appearance.

Im on a boat for a couple of hours a day. it doesnt float but it doesnt need to float since it has 2 straps to hold it place.

I have an average sized female head and the medium traveler hat is a bit roomy still (but this is solved with the adjustable strap). There is a hole in the back for your pony tail. I wish the brim of hat would be flat when being worn but the foldability is unbeatable.
