This hat provides great protection from the sun especially if you are going to be outdoors for an extended period of time. I like wearing it at the beach. It not only protects my head, but it also protects my ears. A baseball cap won't do that. It is also lightweight and folds up and fits in my pants pocket when not in use. It is also very reasonably priced. You can't go wrong with one of these hats.

Feeling a bit nostalgic, I searched for a Fisherman's hat that would be at a fairly decent price and fit my head well.

I like my hat brims to sit just above my eyes, or eyebrows depending on my mood, this hat does that.

the manufacturing of the hat is basic with the interior, (I bought the black hat,) being white but the brim is black on either side.

I wear size 7 5/8 for Fitted; I ordered the L/XL and there is still a bit of a gap between my head and the hat's inside.

That's my "bad" for this hat, for my fitted size, this hat at XL is too large, so be warned.

Note: I wear my hair in a shortcut style, so if you have more of a shaggy or puffy look, the hat may be snug for your head.

I purchased this hat in black and navy. I noticed that earlier reviews described them as larger than normal. I thought, "That's okay, I am a woman, but my head is larger than normal." The hat really was larger than other size L hats that I have purchased, but not unreasonably so. I washed them and I think they will be just fine. I am very happy with my purchase.

I used to wear bucket hats in college back in the early 90's. I longed to wear one again so I bought this baby on a whim. I am very glad I did. It fits perfectly, is sturdy and is nice and dark. I like to turn the brim up a little all the way around to it resembles a pork pie hat. The brim is sturdy and stays in place. I turn on some Madonna music and dance around in my hat like the boy in the Open Your Heart video. Weeeeeeee!
