The hat is made well. But my son ordered it for a costume and doesn't like it. We will be donating it. It is very poofy and looks more like a Mario hat

This hat is a replica of the newsboy hats popular in the 20-30's. While I like the style, I am a little disappointed.

The hat does not have the heft I was expecting from a wool cap. It feels too lightweight. But you get what you pay for. I have owned other fitted hats in the past and they had the feel of a heavyweight quality item. I also own a cream colored newsboy hat that is made out of linen. It is 10" across and this model is 12" across. The wider hat has a whole different look. Linen is a lightweight summer cloth. I really expected a wool hat that I will wear in winter to be heavier. For the price I paid, it is fine and should do the job. It is made in China like just about everything else these days.

If it's looks and style you are after, this hat will fit the bill. But if you want a hat that has a quality feel, look elsewhere. Of course you will pay a whole lot more. I consider this hat more of a costume accessory.

Class hat. Like old days. Genuine snap bill, and floppy, you like floppy. Take a bit to get used to one size fits all...would be better if fitted...tends to be tight but does the trick anyway.
