Love this hat!! My old Tilly does not have this wide a brim and since I'm often out for hours on end in wind and hot sun this gives protection I need. To me, one of the best signs of an excellent hat is that it does what you need it for and the best part--is so comfortable that you forget you even have it on. I am a kiteboard instructor in the tropics and spend around 300 days a year at the beach. This hat has the largest brim which helps my nose and neck from getting sun burned. The chin strap has kept my hat on in 50mph winds (I tie a different knot though). This is the fourth tilley that I have purchased. I dont need skin cancer and they keep me covered in the wind and waves. Really how can you go wrong when they guarantee it for life?
