I bought this hat with the intention of masking my identity while I conduct certain... business.

I'm a high school chemistry teacher and can't let people know my side job.

The hat itself is comfortable, if a little small for my head.

I had to shave my hair off to get this to fit just right, but its a good look when you wear a pair of aviator sunglasses with it.

I won't bore you with the details, but a set of personal circumstances led me to have to switch careers (long story short, my boss at my second job was an awful person and I told him to pound salt).

So anyway, I had an important sales meeting with a prospective distributor for an item I've been working on. This particular businessman is well known in the industry in our area, and everyone knows he's a jerk. My colleague actually got in a particularly bad fight with him over a disagreement.

So I was nervous for our first meeting, needless to say. I picked up this hat because it looked cool, and it did a great job at hiding the fact that I'm balding due to chemotherapy.

I have to say everything went my way. The distribution company agreed to sell my product, and actually became our exclusive distributor, taking 100% of our manufacturing capacity. He tried some of his classic business tactics, and I failed to relent. I didn't back down, and we're now going to make a lot of money together.

I am super pumped about what this hat has done for me. I'm going to consider wearing it in bed with my wife. Now if only I could get the secret recipe from this Chicken Brothers restaurant in downtown Albuquerque, and as long as my brother-in-law and sister-in-law live long, happy lives (he's a law enforcement agent in a particularly nasty area), I'll be happy.

The only con is that the feather falls out easily. I don't like the feather, but if you do, I just suggest that you tread lightly.

I wanted to try a porkpie hat and I thought I would dress as Walter from Breaking Bad on Halloween. I checked various websites; all having different prices and quality. For $33 this hat was a great deal. When I received it, I pulled out the feather and Stacy Adams gold pin. It looked good. The hat's feel is a bit stiff, but manageable. I have a 7 3/8 head. The large fit perfectly. On a competitor website that only sells hats, this hat sold for $55. On another site, the exact same hat was $70.

A week ago the weather dropped to a low of 39 degrees. The hat kept my bald head comfortably warm. It's functional too!

Nobody had the REAL Heisenberg hat at any party I went to. Purchase was definitely worth it. You may find difficulty using this hat post-Halloween, but goes well with a pea coat or a sweater vest. My buddy constantly borrows it to play the guitar, says it gives him a better sense of rhythm. Then again, he also says he is popular with the ladies, but he has been with only 1 girl for the past 7 years so take that with a grain of salt. If windy, hold it down with your hand, it will fly off.
