Precise quality craftmanship in this superbly manufactured hat!! 5++++ stars. In my 44 years of life I have never seen such quality in a hat that did'nt cost an arm and a leg. This was delivered at the end of my husband's lunch time, so he got to take it for a trial run in our Florida heat and humidity to see if it would be cumbersome which it was'nt, and test run it for weight and heat upon his head, which he said was not an issue. He works everyday outdoors in all the elements here and has for years, and he said upon returning home, he wished he had found this hat earlier. Well he didn't, I did and I ordered it based on all its characteristics, not the price. This leather is soft yet durable and sturdy, very comfy on the head with no constricting, the sizing chart provided prior to purchase is right on the money. So subtle you just want to squeeze it and love it, it feels like butter and is very finely made. Shape, size, quality, the list of perfections of this hat could go on endlessly tho I am limited in this space. If you are looking for an extremely fine hat, look no further, you will be so elated to have this one and won't have a single regret on the purchase or the price spent for this wonderful value. It is superb!!!!!

I absolutely love this hat. The leather is great, the brim is sturdy, and it is very durable. My only comment is that I wore this hat in the rain shortly after I got it and the leather began to pucker across the entire surface of the brim. At first I was really annoyed, but I realized that there was nothing I could do about it. Since then, I've been regularly conditioning and water-proofing the hat (at least once a month). I guess I'll just have to learn to live with my very nice, yet lumpy hat.

This is a great hat. Looks great, feels great. And I get compliments on it everywhere I go. But make sure you treat it with some kind of waterproofing if you're going to wear it in the rain.

I really liked this hat, it was exactly what they advertised and it really looks good! It has the natural markings on the leather, but that is a sign of real leather, I love it and it is great to go horseback riding!
